Looks like MySpace didn’t help on that first post, the quality was really poor. So basically go to Mozilla.com and go to the Firefox Add-ons, search for Ad Block Plus, click the green install button.

This video is just demonstrating how to use AdBlock Plus. From the Tools menu in Firefox, select AdBlock(Plus). A dialog box appears, click Add, and enter the address you want to block. This is great if you want to block say all .mov files (they were known to contain viruses when I first made this blog). So to block all .mov files, enter *.mov in the box and click ok.

The other way of using AdBlock(Plus) is to click on the “block” tab that appears at the edge of those annoying ads. This brings up the same dialog as before, only this time it will contain an address. I personally don’t want to view any ad from some of these ad vendors. So, highlight everything after the whateverdomainnameisdisplayed.com/ and replace it with an astric (*). This will block all ads from that particular domain. Be careful of what you block, it might limit your Internet experience.

You can always unblock by clicking Tools/AdBlockPlus, locate the address you want to unblock and remove it.

Hope this helps improve your surfing experience. Let me know what you think.
